Dear Friends
2019 has dawned, and just like that, we close the books on another year. 2018 rushed past us like a leaf on the whitewater current of time. It’s true what they say: the older you get, the faster time goes.
Yet, here we are with a new year, like a fresh piece of paper just waiting for a pen. What will you write on the page of 2019? I am not a resolutions person. I like them, the motivation and purpose they bring is always good. I dislike the fact that by March, I’ve forgotten all about them. So this year I am challenging myself with these resolutions:
- Keep growing. Allow yourself to fall on your face, to make mistakes, but remember to learn from them. Don’t get stuck in the muck of stubborn pride. Instead, listen for the voice of Jesus and seek Him through the highs and lows of everyday life.
- See # 1.
I do have plans to finish the Bible Study on Psalm 119 that I began posting last year. I also plan to add in a few other posts here and there!
What about you? Do you have plans for this bright and shiny new year? I’d love to hear from you–post your comments below.
Many blessings to you as you begin 2019!
Olivia
